Better Medicare Alliance Launches 2021 Television Ad: “Ready”

60-second spot is part of a national, seven-figure advertising campaign highlighting Medicare Advantages preparedness in the face of a public health crisis

Washington, D.C. – Better Medicare Alliance (BMA), the leading research and advocacy organization supporting Medicare Advantage, unveiled a new 60-second television ad set to air on broadcast networks in Washington, D.C. and cable news channels nationwide.

The ad, “Ready” highlights Medicare Advantage’s preparedness in the face of current and future health care challenges while citing the latest data showing a 98 percent consumer satisfaction rating and enrollment growth to roughly 26 million enrollees.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has shown just how responsive and nimble Medicare Advantage is and how important it is to the health and wellbeing of beneficiaries. We’ve seen health plans waive costs, lead a rapid transition to telehealth, and leverage supplemental benefits that help keep seniors safe in their homes. As a result, beneficiary satisfaction is at a historic high, monthly premiums are at their lowest level in over a decade, and enrollment has grown to over 40 percent of the total Medicare population,” said Allyson Y. Schwartz, President and CEO of the Better Medicare Alliance. “Now, we’re taking the message we hear from beneficiaries and providers alike to airwaves around the country so that policymakers hear this success story and understand the value that Medicare Advantage provides to beneficiaries and the broader health care system in these uncertain times.”
