Poll: A bipartisan majority of seniors on Medicare Advantage are satisfied with their coverage

A bipartisan majority of seniors on Medicare Advantage are satisfied with their coverage. Consistent with 2021, nearly all (94%) seniors on Medicare Advantage are satisfied with their Medicare Advantage coverage in 2022, including 95% of Democrats and 93% of Republicans. Additionally, nearly all seniors on Medicare Advantage are satisfied with their Medicare Advantage network of doctors, hospitals, and specialists (95%), including 97% of Democrats and 96% of Republicans.

Additional Poll Results:

  • Nine in ten (92%) seniors on Medicare say it is important for them and other seniors to have the choice of plans other than traditional Medicare, such as a Medicare Advantage plan.
  • Nine in ten seniors agree that Medicare Advantage lets them see the doctors they want on their own terms (89%) and saves them money compared to other coverage options (90%)
  • Seniors on Medicare Advantage are most likely to have personally used vision (75%), dental (61%), wellness (40%), telehealth (39%), and hearing (27%) coverage.
