Better Medicare Alliance Responds to 2024 Medicare Advantage Star Ratings Announcement

Washington – Better Medicare Alliance, the nation’s leading research and advocacy organization supporting Medicare Advantage, responded today to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) 2024 Stars Ratings announcement:

“The 2024 Star Ratings confirm what beneficiaries already know well: that Medicare Advantage continues to deliver high-quality, affordable, and coordinated care,” said Mary Beth Donahue, President and CEO of the Better Medicare Alliance. “Star ratings enable beneficiaries to better understand their plan’s performance and choose high-quality care, and we are encouraged that the large majority of beneficiaries are currently enrolled in 5, 4.5, and 4-star Medicare Advantage plans.
