Better Medicare Alliance Welcomes Eight New Ally Organizations Advancing Innovation and Care in Medicare Advantage

WASHINGTON — Better Medicare Alliance (BMA), the nation’s leading research and advocacy organization supporting Medicare Advantage, today announced the addition of eight new Ally organizations to its network.

These organizations bring hands-on expertise and innovation across behavioral health, technology, nutrition, and aging services, reinforcing BMA’s mission to support high-quality, affordable, and coordinated care for Medicare Advantage beneficiaries.

“Our Allies are in communities every day, delivering real care and support to the more than 34 million Americans who choose Medicare Advantage,” said Mary Beth Donahue, President and CEO of Better Medicare Alliance. “We’re proud to welcome these eight new organizations to our coalition. They bring valuable insights, trusted relationships with beneficiaries, and a shared commitment to advancing the coordinated, community-based care that sets Medicare Advantage apart. Their work is vital to the progress we’re making together for seniors and individuals with disabilities.”

The new Ally organizations include:

  • The Coalition of Wisconsin Aging & Health Groups (CWAG) – A statewide nonprofit dedicated to promoting medicine and vaccine access, reducing preventable disease, and advancing home- and community-based care for older adults.
  • Advocate Health Advisors – A national veteran-owned network of licensed agents helping seniors navigate Medicare options with one-on-one guidance and personalized plan support.
  • Claris Healthcare – Leaders at providing managed remote care services to the most vulnerable and hard to reach patients, aimed at reducing isolation and managing chronic disease among beneficiaries.
  • JustWell Health – A medical practice management group supporting primary care providers in value-based care delivery for Medicare Advantage populations.
  • evolvedMD – A leader in behavioral health integration, working to embed affordable, accessible mental health services into primary care practices across the country.
  • Well Fed – An Arkansas-based nonprofit that partners with health plans and community organizations to combat food insecurity through mobile food markets and nutrition education.
  • Community Servings – A Massachusetts-based nonprofit delivering medically tailored meals to individuals with critical and chronic illnesses, improving health outcomes through nutrition, food security, and compassionate care. Community Servings advocates for reimbursement of medically tailored nutrition through Medicaid, Medicare, and other healthcare payment mechanisms.
  • Rayus Radiology – A national diagnostic imaging provider offering advanced radiology services with a focus on early detection, care coordination, and timely access to high-quality imaging for Medicare beneficiaries and their care teams.

“The Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups empowers older adults with the tools they need to live healthy, independent lives,” said Robert Gundermann, President and CEO of the Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups. “Joining Better Medicare Alliance allows us to elevate our mission and partner with like-minded organizations to advance high-quality care through Medicare Advantage.”

“Behavioral health is health care, and embedding mental health services in primary care is essential to supporting the whole person,” said Sentari Minor, Chief of Staff, evolvedMD. “We’re proud to join Better Medicare Alliance in championing integrated care models that meet Medicare Advantage beneficiaries where they are.”

At Well Fed, we see firsthand how nutrition and food security can transform the lives of older adults,” said Joshua Harris, Executive Director and Founder, Well Fed. “We look forward to working with Better Medicare Alliance to support solutions that make nutrition a core part of care for Medicare Advantage beneficiaries.”

These new Allies join more than 200 organizations in BMA’s coalition of advocacy organizations, aging service agencies, health plans, providers, retiree groups, and beneficiaries. All share a commitment to supporting and sustaining Medicare Advantage as a Medicare option – one that offers enhanced benefits, affordability, and comprehensive care.

Through these and other partnerships, BMA continues to bring together the voices of those closest to the beneficiary experience, working across sectors to preserve and protect Medicare Advantage.
