WASHINGTON — Better Medicare Alliance (BMA), the nation’s leading research and advocacy organization supporting Medicare Advantage, today issued a statement responding to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) proposed rule detailing policy and technical changes to Medicare Advantage for the 2027 Contract Year:

We look forward to reviewing the proposed rule and assessing its impact on more than 35 million Americans who rely on Medicare Advantage,” said Mary Beth Donahue, President and CEO of Better Medicare Alliance. “We appreciate the Administration’s careful, deliberate approach to policymaking and its recognition of the importance of strengthening the program for beneficiaries.”

“As CMS moves forward, we welcome the opportunity to provide feedback on key components of the program as part of the request for information process. Better Medicare Alliance remains committed to working with CMS to support a stable Medicare Advantage program and ensure seniors and people with disabilities continue to receive high-quality care.”
