Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees

Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) serves all individuals retired from Pennsylvania public schools, including teachers, administrators, counselors, nurses, support staff, and others receiving a pension from the Pennsylvania School Employees Retirement System (PSERS). Founded in 1937, PASR supports members in retirement, provides community service, and has been a national pioneer in nonprofit voluntary membership organizations, helping establish the National Retired Teachers’ Association in 1947 and AARP in 1958. The association currently comprises approximately 70 chapters, primarily in Pennsylvania but also across the United States.
