Georgia Optometric Association

Georgia Optometric Association, founded on July 14, 1904, as the Georgia Optical Association, advocates for the practice of optometry in Georgia and supports doctors of optometry with the information and resources needed to deliver high-quality care. The association helped secure state recognition for optometry in 1916 and today serves over 700 members across the state, advancing eye and health care through professional development and advocacy.
